Terms of use
Effective September 28, 2026 · Pre-release service
Lamp is provided by Native as a Scripture reading and reflection companion. Contact contactnativeinc@gmail.com.
Use the service thoughtfully
AI-generated interpretations can be incomplete or mistaken. Open the cited text, consider its context, and seek trusted human guidance for important questions. The service does not provide divine revelation, determine salvation, or offer medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice.
You are responsible for information you submit. Do not use the service to harm others, distribute unlawful content, exploit security weaknesses, impersonate people, or bypass access and usage limits. Keep your account credentials secure.
Scripture and your content
Displayed Scripture uses the public-domain World English Bible unless explicitly labeled otherwise. Additional translations identify their publishers and individual licenses in the app. Public-domain text and Creative Commons Scripture remain subject to their original permissions. These app terms and the Apple software license do not restrict copying, sharing or other uses granted by those Scripture permissions. The translation details link to the publisher’s freely available original files. Reflections are distinct from Scripture. Daily reflections are drafted with AI from the day's passage and checked by an independent AI review before they appear. You retain your rights in your original journal entries and questions and permit the processing needed to provide the features you request, as described in our Privacy policy.
Availability and fair use
This is a pre-release service. Features may change, and maintenance or provider interruptions may affect access. Lamp has no ads. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or guaranteed outcomes.
Premium includes a generous allowance of Scripture answers designed for everyday personal study. To keep the service fast and reliable for everyone, we may pace responses during unusually heavy use and may adjust allowances over time. Automated access, scraping, or using responses to develop or train AI models is not permitted.
To protect the service we may briefly slow or pause requests that look automated, limit the number of accounts used on one device, and suspend or end access that violates these terms after review.
Subscriptions
The daily verse widget works without a subscription. Other features, including the Scripture reader, reading plans, answers and the journal, require a free trial or an active subscription purchased through Apple. Before you start, the app shows the localized price, the renewal period and the date of the first charge.
Weekly and annual plans begin with a 7-day free trial where you are eligible. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your Apple Account is charged when the trial ends and the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until canceled. We send a reminder on your device two days before a trial ends when notifications are allowed. Payment and renewal are handled by Apple under the terms shown in its purchase sheet.
An answer that fails is not counted, and deleting conversation history does not change usage. To ask questions, sign in and connect your subscription to your account in the app. Restore purchases in the app using the Apple Account that made the purchase.
Manage or cancel through Apple subscription settings or from Settings in the app; access continues until the end of the period you paid for. Removing the app or deleting your Lamp account does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests are handled through Apple, and the app links to Apple's refund request; contact us if purchased access cannot be restored.
Apple distribution
If downloaded through Apple, the applicable Apple Standard End User License Agreement also applies. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. The store purchase sheet and the subscription details shown before purchase form part of the subscription offer.
Contact and account removal
You can stop using the app and request deletion through Account and privacy. See the privacy policy for retained security and request records and provider recovery limitations.
